World Book Training: Mary Pryor came to demonstrate World Book to Laura and me today. OH MY! It is not what you think. It contains a section, World Book Advanced, for high school students. This is a powerful reference tool that offers multimedia, e-book content, primary source databases, lesson plans, timelines, a timeline creator and more. You won't believe it! I've invited Mary back, Oct. 16th. She will be here all day. AND....I'm going to bribe you with coffee, rolls, cookies and candy. Honestly, you don't want to miss this. It is soooo good. Online Catalog: Our online catalog is Destiny. You can search our collection from school or home. How? Just go to the Media Center Homepage and click on "Destiny", a link across the top of our Homepage. You then have the option to search by: Author, Title, Subject, or Series.

Technology Tips: Want to send an email to lots of people, but you don't want anyone in the "To..." or "Cc..." lines to know who else received the message. Send it BBC. [Blind carbon copy]. If you put the email addresses of all your intended recipients in the "Bcc..." line none of them will know who else received the message.

Multi-Printing: Want to print a whole bunch of files all at once? Go to the location of the files. Highlight all that you want to print. It will look like this:

Right click on the files you have selected and click "print".
The files will open in succession and print very quickly
