Welcome Back

Welcome Linda Mecke!
I’m so excited to introduce Linda Meckes, Media Coordinator.  She is the latest addition to our Media Center Staff.  Linda grew up in Charlotte, NC and graduated from UNC-Charlotte with a BA in History and an MA in Library Science.

Ms. Meckes became a teacher because she enjoys working with students and learning new things. She is eager to meet you and work with you.  Please stop by to say hello to her.

Orders

Your requests were honored; however, orders will be submitted in three tiers.  The first tier has been submitted.  I will keep you informed.

To submit a request:  An account has been set up for you at:http://www.titlewave.com  Login using:  Username:  tmarvin Password:  tmavericks  Name your order with your name and date.  EX. Ctunno_08_08_08. We will check this account on a weekly basis.

Resources A new webpage has been created to make resource access easier.  Click on the "Resources" link to access databases, Destiny and WiseOwl.  School use does not require a username or password.  Required passwords for outside access are published in a brochure available from the Media Center.  Please ask for one.
Telecenter

Want to program a DVD or VHS tape to play in your room AND have complete control over it?

Pick us the TeleCenter CPS User Guide from the Media Center for a detailed explaination of how to do this, or come to the Media Center and let us help you. 

Electronic Books

Check our Website for a list of ebooks.  We currently have over 50 to choose from.

A great feature of ebooks is that they can be accessed anywhere, anytime from an computer with Internet access.

Poster Printer

Print a 24 x 36” poster — in color with our Poster Printer.  We will provide you with directions as well as help you each step of the way.

     etc.
5.  Coming by the Media Center.  We will enter your request
     when you come.
