We are so fortunate to have a Media & Technology Department that understands the importance of providing us with Cutting Edge Technologies and takes pride in engaging students in informational resources such as the newly acquired databases listed below.  Our subscription will run through the 2008-2009 school  year and, depending on usage statistics, possibly for years to come.  Please schedule a time for us to introduce these wonderful new tools to your classes.

SMART BOARDS: Thanks to technology, our Smart Boards were finished over the break.  Julie Gersfeld; Alice Shrader,  Nancy Titus; Sandra Tran; Harry Braun, Sharon Williams and I received "Basic Training" on the boards by a company trainer, Maria Cline Each of us will provide training for additional groups.

$$$$$:  COFFEE, COFFEE, WHO WANTS COFFEE?  We are selling Coffee.  Dunk'n Donuts regular, French Vanilla and Hazelnut.  The cost is $8.00 for one pound.
Grademaster:  We are now proud owners of a Grademaster 1200.  I dropped my name into a box at the NCAECT Conference and voila!  I will let you know more when it is delivered.
Laptop Carts:  The laptop carts are getting a lot of use.  Please remember to leave 5-7 minutes at the end of the period for students to reassemble the cart and plug the computers in again.
Technology Tip:  Create a shortcut to the Helpdesk on your desktop: 
  
   
 1.  Place your cursor on an empty part of your desktop.
     2.  Right click and select: New > Shortcut
     3.  A shortcut wizard will open up
     4.  Enter the Help Desk URL:

     5.  Click >next and enter the name:  Helpdesk
     6.  Click Finish and the shortcut will be on your desktop
